13 social shopping sites to promote your products at

Chances are you have used social networking sites before and have seen the possibilities they open up for your business. However as well as friendship/business type networking you can also network on social shopping sites to get the word out about your products. These sites are based around shopping but otherwise work in much the same way as other social networks. You can make connections, recommendations, vote, review etc.

Below are the top social shopping sites to get involved with (in no particular order).

1) Kaboodle – Active and engaging with lots of features.
2) Thisnext – Another rather addictive social shopping site
3) Wishpot – “Wishpot makes it easy for you to shop anywhere, keep all your finds in one place, connect with friends, and discover the hottest deals”
4) Dealbundle- Add your favourite deals, there’s even a chance to earn extra money
5) Shopwiki – You can submit your store if it’s not already included, write guides in your field of expertise and write reviews on merchants.
6) Osoyou – Social Fashion
7) Stylehive – Fashion and accessories for women, active community
8) Wists – One nice feature with Wists is that you can add a button to your web site to make it easier for others to add your products to Wists.
9) Zebo.com – I’m not quiet sure what this site’s method is to let you promote products but there is a “sell” option.
10) Crowdstorm.com – Mainly Cameras and camping gear from what I can see
11) Yahoo Shoposphere/ – For owners of Yahoo shops
12) Storrz.com – you need to open a store on their site with this one and they take a percentage of each sale.
13) Etsy.com – Probably one of the most famous ones for selling handmade items
