Work from home - Internet research
What is it?
This is how it works: Users search for an answer to a question either at a search engine or via a text message to the company. This question then get passed to an available operator (ie. yourself). You research the question, find the answer and send it to the client with your computer.
The good and the bad
The great thing with this type of work is that you can usually set your own hours and work from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. You don’t have to sit still for hours, you can answer questions whenever you get the chance. This makes it ideal for when you have little kids around.
The bad is that the pay is often rather low. Payment is by number of questions answered, so you need to work fast in order to make it worth your while. Work may not be available at all times either so really this type of opportunity for most will only be as extra cash rather then a full supporting income. There are some people however who do make decent money doing this.
Where can I find work?
Currently these companies offer work (links open in a new window) Each have different requirements so please read through each site carefully:

Justanswer.com
Texperts
AQA 6336
Mahalo Greenhouse
I hope to add more to this list in the future. If you know of anything please add a comment under this post.
