			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you enjoy writing, and you are looking for a way to make some money from home, one option is to provide guest posts for blogs. Blog authors are often looking for guest writers and in return, guest posters can either promote their own blogs or in some cases, receive financial compensation for their efforts. Here are ten blogs which offer payment for guest posts:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.youthedesigner.com/write-for-us/">You the Designer</a></p>
<p>Pays up to $150 per Photoshop or Illustrator tutorial that is accepted.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.sitepoint.com/about/writeforus">SitePoint</a></p>
<p>SitePoint strives to be at the forefront of new ideas, emerging challenges, and cutting-edge technology on the Web.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.smashingmagazine.com/how-to-become-a-smashing-magazine-author/">Smashing Magazine</a> </p>
<p>Leading web design magazine. I am not sure how much they pay but if you can write articles good enough to be accepted here then it is worth doing just for the traffic and recognition alone. <span id="more-232"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.linux.com/writeforus/">Linux.com</a></p>
<p>Pays $100-$300 per article.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.thebusybrain.com/guest-writers">The Busy Brain Blog</a></p>
<p>Anything from latest news, gadgets, websites, web services, ideas, to photos.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.bloggingtips.com/write-for-us/">bloggingtips.com</a></p>
<p>BloggingTips.com, as the site name indicates, offers advice on how blogs can gain momentum. While the guest posts themselves don&#8217;t pay initially, this site hires frequent guest posters as paid writers.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.pureblogging.com/2007/05/14/would-you-like-to-write-for-purebloggingcom">PureBlogging.com</a></p>
<p>PureBlogging is looking for guest posters who have insight on website promotion and affliate marketing, as well as other topics. This site compensates bloggers with 75% of the Google AdSense revenue that their posts generate.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.searchanyway.com/writers.html">blog.searchanyway.com</a></p>
<p>SearchAnyway pays guest bloggers to post about the internet search industry and online marketing.</p>
<p><a href="http://skateass.com/wordpress/calling-all-guest-posters/">skateass.com</a></p>
<p>General Specifics, anything and everything electronic. Guest posting is a new element of the site and is compensated with payment.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>An article on <a href="http://mashable.com/2008/10/03/falling-video-ad-rates/">Mashable</a> points out a study which shows that publishers who produce video content are able to monetize them at a rate that is about 3 times higher then money earned on other types of content. The study also found that this will only happen while there is a scarcity of video content. In other words you need to jump in now before everyone starts doing it in order to make the most money. So I have decided to put this article together about how to make money with your videos. <span id="more-229"></span><br />
The below sites are for monetizing videos that are on your site usually by inserting advertising into the video stream.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.adbrite.com/mb/how-publishers-ad-formats.php?section=invideo">AdBrite</a> &#8211; Available to the small publishers too unlike many of the other networks.<br />
<a href="http://adap.tv/publishers.html">Adap.tv</a><br />
<a href="http://www.brightroll.com/publisher/">BrightRoll</a><br />
<a href="http://www.jivox.com/">Jivox</a> &#8211; For small to medium web sites.<br />
<a href="http://www.advertising.com/publishers-video.php">Advertising.com</a> &#8211; Needs to have over 500,000 page views per month<br />
<a href="http://www.videoegg.com/adplatform/">Video Egg</a><br />
<a href="http://www.brightcove.com/">BrightCove</a><br />
<a href="http://www.scanscout.com/publishers.html">ScansScout</a> &#8211; Minimum of 1 million video streams per month, from U.S. based traffic<br />
<a href="http://www.Auditude.com">Auditude.com</a></p>
<p>This is all well and good if you run your own web site and get a fair bit of traffic but what if you don&#8217;t? There is still the option of uploading your video content on revenue sharing sites and taking your cut of the advertising dollars earned. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.metacafe.com">MetaCafe</a> and their Producer Rewards is probably the best known one.<br />
<a href="http://www.revver.com/">Revver</a><br />
<a href="http://www.flixya.com/">Flixya</a> &#8211; This is also for photos or blog posts and at the moment the site offers 100% of the revenue that your content generates.<br />
<a href="http://www.atom.com/creators/">Atom</a> &#8211; If you make funny videos this is the place to publish them.<br />
<a href="http://au.youtube.com/partners">YouTube partner programs</a></p>
<p>Links found via <a href="http://www.technologyreview.com/business/19078/page1/">Techreviews</a> and <a href="http://mashable.com/2007/08/23/video-ads/">Mashable</a>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Updated June 24 2010.</strong> <strong>Interested in an even bigger list of online writing jobs? Take a look at <a href="http://56413m1m1q8sfo0r25yex7vnn6.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=18SITES" target="_top">Real Writing Jobs</a><br />
</strong><br />
Even if you are not a professional writer, you can still make money from your writing. As long as you know where to look, you can find opportunities to earn money. I have listed some methods and links to get you started.</p>
<p><strong>Get paid to write blog posts or articles</strong><br />
You can write exclusive articles, submit them at these sites and get paid for each one.</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://about.families.com/become-a-blogger">Families.com</a> &#8211; Pays $4 per blog post and you also get 5% of the revenue your blog makes.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.constant-content.com/?aref=18961">Constant-content</a> &#8211; Get paid for each of your articles that gets sold and you can also earn 5% commission on sales made by people you refer to the site.</li>

</ul>
<p><strong>Get paid by performance of your article &#8211; Revenue Sharing</strong><br />
Submit your articles to these sites and you will get a cut of the revenue your article generates on their site.</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.bukisa.com/join/613">Bukisa</a> &#8211; Share your knowledge and get paid</li>
<li><a href="http://www.triond.com/help/item/topic/general/name/how-it-works">Triond</a> &#8211; Publish writing, poetry, video, content, music and get paid</li>
<li><a href="http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=21069">Associated Content</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.ehow.com/write.html">Ehow.com</a> &#8211; Write instructions on any topic and get paid depending on how popular your article is.</li>

<li><a href="http://www.pakt.com/revenue/">Pakt</a> &#8211; Write tutorials on any topic.
</ul>
<p><strong>Bid on freelance writing jobs</strong><br />
This may sound intimidating for the average person but there are many freelance jobs that are not looking for top of the line professional writing skills but rather someone who can produce a set of keyword rich articles fast and inexpensively.<br />
Some freelance sites are:</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.elance.com">Elance.com</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.freelancewritinggigs.com/">Freelance Writing Gigs</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.guru.com/emp/index.aspx">Guru.com</a></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Sponsored posts on your own blog</strong><br />
You can join the below sites and find opportunities to post about a product or service on your blog and get paid for it. Some people feel this drags the quality of your blog down and I tend to agree but nonetheless there is money to be made here.</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://tinyurl.com/275ov9">Pay Per Post</a> Get paid between $5 and $20 per sponsored post, depending largely on your Google PR rank and which country you are blogging from. Maximum 3 posts per day and it&#8217;s getting very hard to find available posting opportunities, they get snapped up immediately.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.sponsoredreviews.com/?aid=23504">Sponsoredreviews</a> &#8211; Prompt paying, great company. Advertisers are a bit more selective and pay attention to your site stats.</li>
<li><script type="text/javascript">/* <![CDATA[ */
function affiliateLink(str){ str = unescape(str); var r = ''; for(var i = 0; i < str.length; i++) r += String.fromCharCode(2^str.charCodeAt(i)); document.write(r); }
affiliateLink('%3Ec%22jpgd%3F%20jvvr8--uuu%2Cpgtkguog%2Camo-%3Dpgd%3F340%3B%20%3CEgv%22Pgtkgugf%3E-c%3C');
/* ]]&gt; */
</script> &#8211; I didn&#8217;t find as many posting opportunities here but every now and then something does come along.</li>
</ul>
<p>Got a job as a blogger/writer</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.lifetips.com/guru/guru-signup.html">Lifetips</a> hiring freelance writers to write tips on a range of topics.</li>
<li><a href="http://jobs.problogger.net/">ProBlogger Job Boards</a> You can find many blogging jobs here.</li>
</ul>
<p>This article was written especially for the <a href="http://www.problogger.net/archives/2008/08/25/killer-titles/">Problogger group writing project</a>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>These are just some ideas on how to sell more with your direct sales business. If you have more ideas I would love to hear them so please leave them in the comments.</p>
<p>1) Set up a stall at craft shows and fairs<br />
2) Hold more parties where people can buy your products<br />
3) Always carry a product sample with you and work it into conversations with everyone you talk to<br />
4) Fundraisers<br />
5) Always follow up with your past customers.<span id="more-203"></span> It is easier then finding new customers every time.<br />
6) Give your products as presents on birthdays, xmas etc. If they love it they will order more.<br />
7) If your products are suitable, pitch them to business owners to give to their employees and clients as Christmas or thank you presents.<br />
8) Network with others, especially on <a href="http://www.theworkfromhomeblog.com/2008/08/social-shopping-sites/">social shopping</a> and business sites.<br />
9) Hand out catalogs at any opportunity including while lining up, at bus stops, dropping kids off etc.<br />
10) Write some &#8220;how to&#8221; articles or videos and include your products. For example a makeover video with Avon products or a &#8220;how to decorate the bathroom&#8221; featuring your candles and soaps.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="floatright" title="teaching" src="http://www.theworkfromhomeblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/teaching.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="112" />Tutoring students online is one option when thinking about working from home. There are many web sites which either hire tutors or let tutors promote their services. Each site differs in their requirements. I have tried to sort out the below links, starting from the ones which need the least qualifications right up to the hardest ones. Many of the opportunities are available to any country in the world.</p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong>No qualifications needed:</strong></span><br />
<a href="http://www.idapted.com">idapted.com</a> &#8211; English Language Tutors. You can choose your own hours, <span id="more-66"></span> experience or qualifications are not a must.<br />
<strong>Requirements:</strong><br />
English must be your first language.<br />
You must fill out an application form through which they judge how suitable you are.<br />
They provide training if they feel you qualify.<br />
<span style="color: #99cc00;">US only excluding Hawaii and Alaska</span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-3140001-10549730" target="_blank" onmouseover="window.status='http://www.kasamba.com';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;">Kasamba</a><br />
<img src="http://www.tqlkg.com/image-3140001-10549730" width="1" height="1" border="0"/><br />
You can sell your knowledge on just about any topic here. Tutoring is just the beginning. You can give advice, do psychic readings, anything you are interested really. &#8211; <span style="color: #99cc00;">Worldwide</span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.gamertrainer.com/TrainerRegistration.aspx">Gamer Trainer</a> Teach people how to get better at online games like Halo, WoW and others. I don&#8217;t think they hire many people just yet but if you are passionate abut online games it&#8217;s something to keep an eye on. <span style="color: #99cc00;">Any country</span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.buddyschool.com">BuddySchool.com</a> &#8211; Teach any subject including non academic ones. This is more like running your own business since you have to win your clients yourself by participating in the marketplace at their site. You get to set your own payment level, hours, form of teaching and more with this online tutoring platform. You can start immediately. &#8211; <span style="color: #99cc00;">Available worldwide</span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.edufire.com" target="_blank">eduFire.com</a> &#8211; Teach any language (including English) via webcam. Another self promoted one with immediate start and no qualification needed. <span style="color: #99cc00;">Available WorldWide</span></p>
<p><a href="http://tutor.talkbean.com/displayEng.do?cmd=siteMain">TalkBean</a> &#8211; Teach using a webcam and microphone. Like the two above you need to find your own students.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.limu.com/" target="_blank">Limu</a> &#8211; Much like the above three but with some differences. Make sure to read their information as to exactly how it works.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.universalclass.com/teachonline/index.htm" target="_blank">Universal Class</a> &#8211; Non academic subjects can be taught here without certifications as long as you are experienced in the subject. Academic subjects need qualifications.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.smarthinking.com/static/e-structors/positions/" target="_blank">Smarthinking</a> &#8211; Hires on a regular basis, but the peak season for hiring is May-August and November-December every year. They cover a wide range of subjects.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.westat.com/atHome/index.cfm">Westat</a> is a leading research corporation in the US. They have ongoing opportunities to work from home as Telephone Data Collectors (<span style="color: #ff0000;">US only</span>).</p>
<p><strong>The work</strong><br />
You will be calling people on the phone asking them to complete surveys, reading from a script.</p>
<p> <strong>The hours</strong><br />
You need to work a minimum of 15 hours per week in uninterrupted 3 hour blocks. Night and weekend work is available. <span id="more-113"></span></p>
<p><strong>The pay</strong><br />
For English speaking employees the pay is $8.25/hour, more for weekends. For bilingual employees it is $10.25 depending on the language you speak, more for weekends. Paid weekly. You don&#8217;t need to fill a quota, you are paid by hours worked.</p>
<p><strong>The job application process</strong><br />
The first stage of the process is to <a href="http://www.westat.com/atHome/index.cfm">fill out a quick form on their web site</a> which asks some simple questions about your work environment at home.</p>
<p>Next you will be contacted to arrange a phone test where they test what you sound like, how well you can read the script etc. This is followed by a phone interview soon after.</p>
<p>Next if you are accepted you need to fill out some paperwork, send along identification along with other details. Once this setup stage is finished some training will begin. </p>
<p>There is 30 hours in total of paid training time from your home.</p>
<p><strong>The requirements:</strong><br />
    * Good people skills and to be able to follow a script as natural conversation.<br />
    * A quiet home work environment.<br />
    * A Windows-based PC computer and some basic computer knowledge.<br />
    * Internet connection (cable or DSL) and a landline telephone which can be used at the same time.<br />
    * A corded telephone with a hands-free, corded headset (no cordless, VOIP, or cell phones).<br />
    * 15 hours a week minimum – either day, evening, or weekend hours.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="floatright" title="Work at home texting" src="http://www.theworkfromhomeblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/phone.jpg" alt="" width="175" height="189" /> <span style="color: #808000;">What is it?</span></p>
<p>This is how it works: Users search for an answer to a question either at a search engine or via a text message to the company. This question then get passed to an available operator (ie. yourself). You research the question, find the answer and send it to the client with your computer.</p>
<p><span style="color: #808000;">The good and the bad</span></p>
<p>The great thing with this type of work is that you can usually set your own hours and work from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. You don&#8217;t have to sit still for hours, <span id="more-35"></span> you can answer questions whenever you get the chance. This makes it ideal for when you have little kids around.<br />
The bad is that the pay is often rather low. Payment is by number of questions answered, so you need to work fast in order to make it worth your while. Work may not be available at all times either so really this type of opportunity for most will only be as extra cash rather then a full supporting income. There are some people however who do make decent money doing this.</p>
<p><span style="color: #808000;">Where can I find work?</span><br />
Currently these companies offer work (links open in a new window) Each have different requirements so please read through each site carefully:<br />
<a href="http://www.chacha.com" target="_blank">ChaCha</a><br />
<a href="http://www.justanswer.com/expert.aspx">Justanswer.com</a><br />
<a href="http://999600c6.fb.joyent.us/gettingpaid" target="_blank">Texperts</a><br />
<a href="http://www.aqa63336.com/vacancies.htm" target="_blank">AQA 6336</a><br />
